Route shows points not on the route all over the map when open for editing
I have a route that I created in Gaia GPS (not imported, created from scratch) which looked fine when I was saving it. But when I open this route for editing now I see a bunch of points not attached to anything and if I start deleting these points my route start changing (like some sections get rerouted). It looks like some points are not shown on the right coordinates or something. What could it be and how to fix it?

I'm sorry you are having issues with creating a route on the web. Can you let me know which web browser was used to create the route?

Hey Nathan. Thank you for response. I'm using Chrome for Mac. Here's another, simpler example that reproduces the problem - https://www.gaiagps.com/datasummary/track/05ce7054-8f7d-4e2c-8dc3-05a650cb0b9b/?layer=natgeo,GaiaTopoRasterFeet I created this route just 2 days ago, I contains 4 point and if I open it for editing now I see one detached point.

Thanks for linking your route.
We are looking into a bug report over additional “ghost” routepoints being included when creating a route and I have added this information to the bug report.
We are planning on an under the hood update for gaiagps.com which will improve how routes are created overall and address this bug.
To prevent ghost routepoints, you can allow each section of your route snap to the trail before creating a new routepoint.0
