Zoom levels corresponding to scale
I am trying to print some maps based on the French and Spanish IGN 1:50,000. I want to resize my images to 1:50,000, as Gaia's zoom levels don't correspond to the actual scale of the tiles (annoying).
According to this thread
Here a table of approximate scales for each map zoom level, assuming a pixel size of 0.26mm zoom 1 = 1:279541132 zoom 2 = 1:139770566 zoom 3 = 1:69885283 zoom 4 = 1:34942641 zoom 5 = 1:17471320 zoom 6 = 1:8735660 zoom 7 = 1:4367830 zoom 8 = 1:2183915 zoom 9 = 1:1091957 zoom 10 = 1:545978 zoom 11 = 1:272989 zoom 12 = 1:136494 zoom 13 = 1:68247 zoom 14 = 1:34123 zoom 15 = 1:17061 zoom 16 = 1:8530 zoom 17 = 1:4265 zoom 18 = 1:2132
Yet, when I try to resize the from images generated at the 1:34123 scale, I don't get 1:50,000 maps.
So either my math is wrong, or the zoom level scales is outdated. Can anyone confirm for me the zoom levels?

Sorry about the unreadable above, I cannot edit it now.. I will repost it here:

It *seems* like the scale at zoom 14 is actually more like 1:25641.026, but it's a long time since I've been in high school, so.. I want to verify this.0 -
I'm sorry you are having an issue determine the scale for your printed maps and I noticed you also sent an email. It looks like Robyn has responded to your questions and is following up with you on the issue.
