Importing your own map

I haven't submitted this as a feature idea because I don't know if it's possible to do already... Is there a way to import your own maps? I have openstreetmaps for my watch and it'd be neat if I could use those same files for the app.

  Yes, it is possible to import custom map sources into Gaia GPS. Here are a few notes on importing custom maps

  • Most maps are Tile Map Services (TMS).
  • Follow this link to for steps to import a TMS sources
  • Please check the Terms of Service for any map service before importing into Gaia GPS, to ensure your use is compliant.

  Many of the map sources in Gaia GPS pull data from the OpenStreetMap project such as Gaia Topo.
