Hi,
I recommend checking out the Satellite with Labels from MapBox. This high-resolution satellite imagery layer includes road names and can be found within the Satellite Imagery section of the Layers menu.1 -
Thanks. Thats what I wanted!

I tried this and did not see any BLM roads with names in the area I was looking in Arizona.

@bruce4795,
Viewing Gaia Topo with the Public Lands overlay may help you find the BLM roads you're looking for. As you zoom in, more trails, roads, and names will appear on the map.
Give this a try here on the web: https://www.gaiagps.com/map/?loc=6.2/-113.4464/34.4457&layer=gaiapubliclandOpenBounds,GaiaTopoRasterFeet
You may also find more roads on the USGS Topo layer. Here's that map: https://www.gaiagps.com/maps/source/usgs-topo/
If you'd like further assistance with a particular location, please contact Support here so we can help you out.0 -
I am also looking for the trail numbers for BLM roads and tried this above. Trails show up but no trail numbers.

This does appear to still be an issue with Gaia, at least in the western US as I haven't tried other regions. I have tried all of the suggestions above and there are no BLM road numbers listed no matter how close you zoom in. By the way, in the western US, BLM is by far the majority of public lands. Just out of curiosity, I tried the same thing with a demo of onX, and their standard satellite map and topo both show the BLM road numbers when zoomed in. As an example, this area in Gaia (https://www.gaiagps.com/map/?loc=17.8/-113.9627/36.6076&layer=gaiapubliclandOpenBounds,GaiaTopoRasterFeet) only shows a label for county highway 101 but not any of the other roads in the area, whereas ONX shows them all. Also, I tried all of the map layers available and could not find on that had the road numbers.

I live in AZ and I am also surprised that GAIA does not have BLM maps, that have BLM road numbers. This is a big deal with so much BLM land in AZ. BLM actually does a better job of having on the ground road signs than Forest Service but this does me little good without a map that contains this information. GAIA, please help us out.
Thanks you!

I finally had to use OnX Hunt app to get BLM as well as other faint trails. This is my go to app here in Arizona if using more remote or BLM trails.
I still use Gaia but this is a real shortcoming for the app in my book.
