Elevation profile always on zero

The elevation change always stays on zero when I draw a route. Is there a way to solve this?

  I'm sorry you are having an issue with the elevation profile while creating a route.
  
  Can you click “Submit a request” in the top menu bar and send the following information so we can take a closer look at what the issue might be?

  • The platform you are creating the route on: iOS, Android, gaiagps.com
  • Copy of the route
