Need Direct Garmin Watch Support
AnsweredHere’s a feedback draft you can send to Gaia GPS:

Subject: Request for Garmin Watch Integration (Forerunner 965)
Hi Gaia GPS team,
I’m a paying subscriber and love using Gaia to plan my routes — the map layers and route-building tools are fantastic. However, I’m disappointed that there’s no native Garmin app or direct sync option for watches like my Forerunner 965.
When I do long runs, my phone’s battery often dies, so I rely on my Garmin watch for navigation. I would love to be able to design my course in Gaia on my phone and upload it directly to my watch without needing third-party tools like RouteCourse or manual GPX transfers.
Other apps like Komoot and Wikiloc offer Garmin Connect IQ support, so I know it’s possible. Please consider adding a Garmin integration — even a lightweight companion app or direct sync feature would make a huge difference for users like me.
Thanks for all the great work you do. I hope this feature can be added soon!
Best,

Hey paul
Better yet, submit this as a feature request using this form: https://help.gaiagps.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=5875257405463
These requests will go straight to the Product team (the team who actually makes decisions about what gets worked on next), as opposed to emailing support.
I'm going to close this post since it's a feature request but I'll leave it up so others can find my response. Cheers!
