Gaia GPS Community Guidelines

Welcome to the Gaia GPS Community Forums. We are dedicated to maintaining a constructive, respectful, and inclusive environment. It's important for us to establish guidelines that promote a safe and positive experience for all our members. Please review these rules before posting.

General Rules for posting:

1. Please be respectful and use appropriate language
   We expect all interactions in here to be conducted with respect. Any form of harassment, hate speech, personal attacks, or abuse is not tolerated. Your posts and comments should add to the community in a constructive manner. We would prefer not to remove anything, but harassing, mean, or generally non-constructive comments may be removed without warning.
2. Respect User Privacy
   Do not reveal others’ personal or private information (e.g. doxing) or encourage others to do the same. 
3. Keep it relevant
   We created some new topics! Keep your comments and posts relevant to the topic at hand. The focus of the community here is to create an inclusive, welcoming, and useful place where we can discuss, share, and connect on all things related to the outdoors and Gaia GPS. Off-topic discussions can detract from the purpose here and may be removed. If you'd like to see a topic that isn't listed, just let us know. 
4. Intellectual Property
   Respect copyright and the ownership rights of others. Ensure that any content you share or post does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of third parties.
5. Compliance with Laws
   You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those governing online conduct and acceptable content.

What you can expect from us:

1. We may not respond to every post or comment, but rest assured, we will read them all!
2. We don't troubleshoot here. We recommend contacting support here if you are experiencing a problem as we will be able to get back to you in a much more timely fashion.
3. We don't discuss what we’re working on, if we do provide a timeline, know that it is subject to change.
