This "HOME" screen junk ......

Hi, 

I have this screen I don't recall seeing before, it's called HOME and its a bunch of social media BS with cutesy pie sharing, and friends junk, and following irrelevant people. 

I want to navigate off grid not find a new wife!  :-)

Can I block or get rid of it somehow in the settings?

    We pay, a lot now, and get all these ads. Grr.

    It's called Outside. It's complete garbage, nobody needs it and nobody wants it. However GaiaGPS is forcing it on us as they hope to open up their advertising space.

    It has already had negative effects on GaiaGPS functionality. Since it became part of the GaiaGPS platform, I cannot download the photos I took on recorded hikes and they don't show up in Gallery on my phone.

    So, even though those are my photos, they remain on Gaia Cloud and I have no access to them other than clicking on each Waypoint. And they cannot be saved in their original jpg form.

    That was my main reason for using GaiaGPS, if Gaia GPS won't let me access my own photos, I'll have to look elsewhere.

    Support is unresponsive.

    I agree with hpinson33 im not paying $100 a year to have it waist my data every time i launch the app this is a off grid navigation app not social media platform if i want to view that crap i will hit the home button.not all of us ar doom scrollers
    the defalt needs to change to opt out.
    First the stupid auto naming tracks.now this whats next???.
    I used to love this app before it was stupefied
