MVUM does not show any "additional information", Roads and Trails USFS does not show accurate 4wd trails

I have been planning an off road trip and found that the only map that actually shows where forest four wheel drive roads are is the Overland and gaia feet classic. The USFS roads and trails identify where roads go, however they are NOT accurate and look like general approximate locations. When I add the Premium MVUM layer I do not get any additional information, and when we are on the ground we are finding marked open trails that do not appear on any Gaia layer.  Does anyone have any ideas on why this is the case?
