computer stats don't match iPhone stats
I'm using Gaia Track on my iPhone 14 pro for continuous readout on map position, elapsed time, distance, average speed. biking in hilly country. My last ride I kept pushing hard to average 12 mph, but ended up with 11.9. Still very good for this person on this route. Now I'm looking at the same track, but on the computer, so I can enter key data on my spreadsheet. Gaia on the computer says 11.7 mph! Looked at the phone again, still says 11.9. I've noticed this before but didn't detail it. I'm in conversation elsewhere about the difference in elevation - 1089 on Gaia computer; 1028 on Gaia iPhone. I see discussions on why prior Route planning can vary from actual Track results. But why-for does the computer presentation vary so much from the phone presentation? Isn't the phone providing the data to the website to the computer?
Now that I see how far off this is, I'll need to review my spreadsheet entries to assure consistency in using computer data or phone data. It may seem small to others, but for me gaining 3 or 4 tenths mph over a few months shows improvement, and I get ice cream to celebrate.

also should have said in my post above, the computer track data is accessed on the left side of the screen, through the Saved list.
If we access the Track data through the right side of the computer screen, we get data that is closer to the phone app, but still not the same.
I've never ever understood the difference between accessing our stuff through the left side of the screen vs the right. It's like the same menus with different formatting. Caused a lot of confusion in the past, but now I basically work through the left side of the screen.
But ain't it just too weird, that the same data file on the computer gives different results if you access it through the left side of the screen vs the right side of the screen?
Probably rounding errors from copying the same data in series to various places, but still should do better.
