Subscription price increase

I don't much mind the increase in subscription pricing, I just wish that in addition to all the fancy new features, you would put some effort into improving performance.  I use GAIA on a Samsung tablet in my truck, and if there is no internet connection, mapping is dubious at best.  If there is an internet connection, I better not try to make any changes quickly, nor should I consider running Pandora in the background.  I've got (should have) plenty of memory to run both apps, and I shouldn't be experiencing such a drastic power drain.  Even connected to a solid 12v power source, and just running GAIA, there is a negative drain on power.  I've tried it with just GAIA and no other apps running and it is just as bad. 

Apart from the power problems and remembering to pre-download regional maps for when I am out of range, I'm happy with the product.

  The lack of reliable offline mapping is a significant concern, especially for someone who uses GAIA on the road.
