Multiple day hike

I am doing a 12 day hike and will be off line during those days. How can I save my track during those days? I will also shutting down my phone to conserve the battery.

Any suggestions or recommendations

  Hi Herman :)
  
  I "Pause" the track after arriving at my campsite, I think by touching the time counter. Then I turn off my phone. You just need to "Resume" the track the next morning before hiking.

  Carry extra batteries, maybe get a solar charger, so on. It just requires planning, and not at the last minute.
