GIAI mileage
Just did a 10.3 mile hike using GIAI on iPhone 6s and compared mileage recorded to two Apple 6 watches. GIAI recorded 9.3 miles, watches both recorded 10.3 miles. When will we be able to trust GIAI mileage? Other than that, I really like all the features although getting used to commands is more difficult than it should be (deleting a route, saving a recorded track, stopping a recording, etc.)

Sorry for the trouble you are experiencing with your track recordings.
Restarting your phone may resolve the issue.
If that does not work, please make sure:
1) Set your Location Service to Always: Gaia GPS isn't locating me. How do I adjust iOS location services?- Go to Settings App > Privacy > Location Services
- Set Gaia GPS access to Never and quit the Settings App
- Then relaunch Settings and turn it back to Always
2) Turn your phone on and off a couple of times. This will delete any GPS errors that may have accumulated in your phone's GPS chip.
3) Make sure your phone is not in "Low Power Mode."- iPhone Settings App > Battery > Low Power Mode = OFF
