What is the point of publicly sharing waypoints if there is not a way to view public waypoints?

Hey @bernk, thanks for your question.

Gaia GPS used to have a map layer that showed public waypoints, similar to the Public Tracks overlay. This source is no longer available.

The main difference between public and private waypoints at the moment is that photos attached to public waypoints are used in Hike Search results: Search for hikes, parks, trails, and places in the app

Is there a way to publicly share waypoints so that anyone can see them?   The instructions seem to imply this but I can't view them unless I am signed in as one of the people they are shared with.
