Re-hiking same trail. Want to save former segments but not have them displayed on map.

I plan to re-hike a trail that I have already hiked, but this time from the opposite direction. It is 100 miles long and I have saved the individual segments that I've already hiked. I'd like to save the hike segments that I've already hiked. But I don't want the segments to show up on the map. 

Since I want to save the already-hiked segments how can I do so but not see them on the map as I hike along the same trail?

  You can hide your past tracks so that they will not show on the map while you are recording a new track in the same area. Here's how:

  • Show or Hide Saved Data on the Map
