Top Hikes in the Area

Here recently the Top hikes in the Area has been flying in from the left sidebar whenever I open GAIA. Is there a way to turn this off by default? It didn't used to do it in the past and I am wondering if I turned some setting on that I am not finding in the settings. Any help would be appreciated... Thank you...

  Fixed my own problem. Did a shift-refresh to clear out the cache on my browser and the Top Hikes in the Area do not show up all the time now.

  We just merged some changes to this feature.  Now if you close the Explore sidebar once, it won't show up again.
