Tracking route when screen shuts off.
AnsweredGood afternoon - I am learning to use Gaia. I am learning to use Gaia and if I can can get one bug worked out I will go with the paid version. Here are the details.
When I am tracking a hike I love being able to see the route I am traveling. (i.e., the line I leave behind that shows what I have done.) The problem is when my screen shuts off and restarts I get a straight line that connects the CURRENT location to my location when the screen turned off. Consequently, I get a route with a few little jagged pieces that shows my actual route connected by long straight lines. Obviously a problem. Can you suggest a solution?
I am using a Moto G Power, Android 10.

Hi Mike,
Will you try the steps in this article and let me know if that resolves this issue for you? -
It happens to me as well. My settings are as McLane suggested, I'm using a Redmi Note 9s, Android 10.
Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks!
