Phone routes do not appear on apple car play

Dear friends
I just installed Apple CarPlay on my Landcruiser. The routes I have loaded, or the ones I load new ones in GPX format, do not appear on the device in the car. I am sure I am doing something wrong. I need your help. Thank you very much for your help.
