Transferring Downloaded Maps from old iPhone to new iPhone

My map download occupies 450 G layering a dozen different maps. I have it currently
on my iPhone pro and my iPad Pro. Gaia will download a copy on a different iPhone
if you set the app on each to the same email, which is how keeps track. It won’t copy from the previous
phone, but downloads from the gaia server, so takes as long as original. Has worked for me, but gaia can be buggy.

Thank you for chiming in, Walt. This is extremely helpful. Give's me a little peace of mind knowing I won't have to recreate each download block. I don't mind the time it takes if it's automated. I don't mind the buggyness when the app itself is as fantastic as Gaia is. Thanks again!

Downloading takes days... Also, you might have a downloaded map source that is no longer available and downloads will get stuck.  But other maps get stuck also, so you don't know why they are stuck.  You will need to reboot your phone or iPad, restart the app.  I literally left my iPad on for days and it did not complete without a lot of interaction.  I don't know of a better method of finding the "no longer available" maps - I had to go onto computer and select each "downloaded" Map (selection on right side of screen) and then see if the map preview showed "not available".
