Poor satellite imagery

Hello,

Yesterday I bought the non-PRO version of Gaia GPS for my Android because I have only heard great things about it. In my case, I mainly need Gaia GPS to do some research on remote and off-the-beaten-track itineraries to go on my bicycle.

The point is that I was really expecting an accurate satellite imagery, but I now realize that MapQuest Satellite imagery is actually quite poor as it only zooms in up to 5km. After that, at 2,5km, if you keep zooming in, the screen gets blank with no description or images displayed.

Is there any way to get more precise satellite imagery within the non-PRO Gaia version, or does this just come with an upgrade to the PRO version?
