Maps quit downloading onto my iPad...
I have a good internet connection and over 90GB of free space available. I'm trying to download large areas (entire state of UT) for off-roading. Downloading appeared successful initially. Now, the spinning downloading wheel has been replaced by an apostrophe (Status: No Downloads in Progress).

Hi Ken,
Is the map still showing on the download status page or is the download status page empty?
If you go to the Saved tab and find your map, does it show that it isn't fully downloaded?

Hi Ken,
What happens if you manually resume the downloads: https://help.gaiagps.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003640268-

Hi Ken,
Since you reinstalled, all of your maps will need to redownload - sorry if that wasn't clear!
There are download restrictions on some maps, but not Gaia Topo.
Let me know if continue having trouble.
Two tips:
1. Make sure to leave the app open while downloads complete
2. You can turn on 'auto-resume' in settings to make sure maps continue if you close the app and come back to it later.

I have a good internet connection and 70 GB of free space available. Numerous downloads initiated from a trip 6 months ago were never fully downloaded. Now, the spinning downloading wheel has disappeared, presenting only an apostrophe (Status: No Downloads in Progress)

@anchornow1
Thanks for using Gaia GPS. I am sorry you are having trouble downloading maps.
Will you try the steps in this article and let me know if that resolves this issue for you?
Additionally, please try these things:- Map downloads require you to leave the app open on the screen (in the foreground) and leave your screen on for the map to download. Don't switch to another app or let your screen turn off, or it will pause the download. To stop your screen from turning off, open iOS Settings > Display and Brightness > Auto-lock > set to Never. To resume a paused download, see Pause/Resume Map Downloads on iOS.
- Turn on auto-resume so that map downloads will automatically resume if app is closed. Tap Settings > Map Download > Toggle on Auto-resume
If that does not work, please contact Support here.0
