    Hi Patrick,

That map is called OpenStreetMap, and it is available in Gaia GPS under the Road Maps category.

OpenStreetMap is not available for download, however.  Good alternatives include HikeBike.de (Road Maps category), and OpenCycleMap HD (Topo Maps category).

    Hello Ashli

However, thanks for the note, the stand kind of OSM card do not have any emergency Layer.
It is shown on the card no Defibrilatoren or hydrants.

    See compare in the supplement.

it would be terrific if you could creat for premium user such a map layer whit hydrants, emergency exits etc.

    Patrick,

I see now, sorry for my confusion!

That would be a great addition, I'll open an internal feature request so the development team can investigate the possibility of adding these overlays.

    Hello Ashli

to due some Testings i Add the Layer of openfiremap.org

    https://www.gaiagps.com/datasummary/mapsource/acd1bbd3-f4fd-4490-b592-9ecb2c73747c/?layer=AD539518E5BAB259CDD348B951CDB4

    here is the Public map.

however, it does not work perfectly.
    the emergencymap is much better.

the best you design these so that as layers only with the points one can put her over any map.

    Patrick,

    Thanks for sharing!

I didn't quite understand the last part of what you were asking. Are you having trouble layering the map with other sources?

    No.

it's just an example, for you how an emergency map
    could work.
I prefer a layer with the symbols so that you can put these over each map.
Not a complete map only all symbols.
    AED, Firestations, Hydrants, etc.

The emergency overlays from OpenStreetMap database are formatted as web map service (WMS) and Gaia GPS is formatted for tile map service (TMS) data. Adding the data as an overlay will take some backend work, but it still a possibility.

or draw your own layer to overlay in the normal maps this should by the best way.

    Like this

Some more Layers like that would be very helpfully.
