"offline topo maps" app stopped working after latest iOS upgrade

i bought "offline topo maps" a while back and it does what i need. with the recent iOS update to 11.0 it no longer shows my location on the map and it no longer records my track. this was a lifetime buy and i expect that it will still work - particularly given that it is still available in the app store.

  I noticed this too. I can’t turn on location services for this app now, so it won’t move to my location, show the altitude, etc.

  We received several reports of this issue and have forwarded a bug report to the development team.

  Hi, I'm nervous to update to iOS11 because of a few posts like this.  Are these isolated problems, or is there a big issue with Gaia and iOS11?  I'm happy to wait to update, I just want to get a feel for if I should or not.

  Hi Michael, 

  You can definitely update. This was actually an issue with Offline Topo Maps, not Gaia GPS. 

  Also, we fixed the underlying issue here in the most recent release.
