Editing Route
I am planning a 4x4 trip from the Oregon coast following Route 6 mapped by Oregon Back Country. They provided us GPX files which I loaded into my GaiaGPS account. These files contained track and waypoint data.
I want to plan our route using their points as a guide. I went to Create Route, set a starting point, set to vehicle, and plotted route points. It was tedious to get the route to fit the road on the map. After multiple attempts, I finished a route segment from HWY 101 to HWY 5 following the track provided by OBCD. I saved the route. When I opened the route there are some spurious data points. I want to delete these points and haven't been able to effectively edit the route.
I'm not sure how to send you the 'link' to the route in question. Perhaps you are referring to the URL presented when I open the route for editing.
If you open the route, you will see a mess of strait lines in the western one third of the route.
I enabled NatGeo Trails Unlimited (not useful for this part of the trip) and MapBox Aerial as the base layer.
Your help is appriciated.

Hi there,
I think I spoke with you via email about this, but I have a quick update.
The issue above was caused when the ending points of a route weren't getting saved correctly.
The development team pushed a fix for the root cause here on Sunday afternoon. While existing routes like the one above might not get fixed automatically, new routes should work fine.
