Source for Shikoku, Japan maps
I used Gaia GPS on my iPhone for the Camino del Norte pilgrimage route this year and it was great - helping me to find quieter alternative routes sometimes and occasionally to avoid getting lost. I am now planning to walk the Shikoku pilgrimage and was hoping to use Gaia GPS for this also. However I cannot find any detailed maps of Shikoku to download (with or without Romanised place-names) - can anyone suggest any available sources for this?
The only workaround I can imagine would be to download the fairly low-res map areas available on Gaia GPS on which to plot the route and then refer to printed paper maps (or perhaps also download sections of higher-res Google Maps to refer to also for more detail -although this might require far too much storage space?)
Any suggestions to help an elderly solitary walker avoid getting lost very welcome - Thanks in advance!

Looks like the Shikoku is not designated on any of the map sources, sorry about that. However, I was able to find a post on the Pilgrimage On Shikoku Island: Forum that has a KML of the main Shikoku trail:
Check out this article to learn more about importing KML files into Gaia GPS Classic: Importing GPX and KML files in Gaia GPS Classic.

Many thanks for checking into that Nathan - I guess I've been spoilt by the super detail available on the Spain/Europe too maps!

That should read: '..on the Spain/Europe Topo maps..'
