    Can you send the activity logs for Gaia GPS to support@gaiagps.com so we can take a look at what might have caused the duplication?

    • Please open Gaia GPS > Settings > Other > Send Logs

    All of my data was duplicated too a while back. No easy fix for it except go through and delete the duplicated data.

    Fortunately, I usually filed everything into folders. The duplicates were not in folders, so it was easy to pick them out.

    Hi jnbtcr,

    It's possible we fixed the issue that caused your duplication if it was a while back.

    I'd say the best way to prevent this happening in the future (for anyone interested) is to make sure you only login to one account with the app, and if you'd like to login to a different account make sure to fully delete and reinstall the app first.

    Same issue. Second time! So much data and all of it is duplicated.

    I'm sorry for the trouble. It looks like you may have logged out and back into the same account on your device.

    Same happened to me. I use the app on multiple devices and was having issues syncing my phone. I therefore reinstalled the app on my Iphone. Now everything is duplicated on all my devices

    I've seen duplication caused by exporting then importing items,  The import should omit identical data and detect and inform when importing the same item in modified form.   The import should also account for the fact the only the geoJSON format includes style information such as color.
