integrate loadmap.net

Hey, 

I am planning on doing some trekking in northern Pakistan. Since the aren´t too many good maps of this area I was trying to integrate some of the 1:100.000 Soviet maps that you can download on loadmap.net. I couldn´t find a way to properly integrate those maps but maybe you can help me out ? 

I would really appreciate if anyone has an idea.

  To create a custom map source for these maps you will need to download the “.gif“ file for the various map sections and then follow the steps in this article to create a TileJSON for the map and upload it to gaiagps.com.

  • Import Non-Georeferenced Maps into Gaia GPS
  • Please check the terms of use for any map source imported to Gaia GPS

  Thanks this already helps, but I was wandering if there is any chance to use the ".map" file, which is a file written by the program OziExplorer where all the Georeference data is written in ... Otherwise I would have to do the Georeferenc by hand and this might not be a accurate.

  Unfortunately mapwarper.net (http://mapwarper.net/) cannot import the “.map” files.
