Larger location marker?

Hey there, 

Gaia Pro member here, first post. Question: Is it possible to make the location marker (that little arrowhead-shaped "you are here" marker) a bit bigger? I can find it when I look for it, but sometimes it takes a bit of time, and in bright sunlight it can get a bit maddening. It's odd to me that even when I manually zoom in/out, the location marker remains constantly the same size. I've tried experimenting with the color of the location marker, but it's not a huge help. The neon yellow is what I have it on now, but it washed out a bit in the sun; red/black/greens can blend with some map features.

For what it's worth, the location marker on a competitive product (which makes my beacon) has a marker about twice the size.

  Thanks for posting!

  There isn't a way to enlarge the location marker. What kind of device are you using Gaia GPS on?

  I'm using a Samsung Galaxy 5 (Android) phone. Works well, and I can find the location marker, but sometimes I need to find (or create) a shady spot to see it.

  Thanks, I opened an internal feature request to enlarge the location marker on Android devices.

  One last thought: A larger marker would be nice, but maybe tying it to the zoom in/zoom out feature on phones would be a way to go, i.e. if I zoom in to make the map bigger, the marker becomes larger, etc. Not sure it that's way more complicated, and not asking for that, just putting out an idea.   In addition to this, we need a way to read the altitude numbers when maps are scaled.
