Share Folders with friends - Awesome!
I tried out the feature to share a folder directly (app-to-app) in v1.2. It worked well. I created a folder for a boy scout hike that had a route and several waypoints. I was able to share that with other scout leaders using the "person" icon in the folder view and adding email addresses. Then when I added another waypoint to the folder, it updated for everyone pretty much instantly.
This is way better than the old link share methods and will make using Gaia GPS with a group very nice. Thanks!
The only hiccup we had was when people clicked on the link, the web page threw a not found error (I think). But despite the error, the folder showed up in everyone's app.

Thanks for the feedback on Shared Folders. I have notify the Development Team of the issue when accepting the invite to a shared folder.

where is this "person" icon mentioned above?

You can find the person icon by going to the Saved menu, and opening one of your folders. On your folder's details page, the icon will be at the top of the screen.
