POI Search problem
After a recent software update (I don't know if it was an update to Gaia or other software on my phone), I noticed that, when I search for points of interest, the boxes containing the returned results are empty. If I click on one of the boxes, I'm taken to the correct location (if that box contained the result I was looking for). So, search itself works fine, but the text of the returned result is invisible.
Has anyone experienced this issue? Is there a work around?
I'm running Android 7.1.2 on a Nexus 5x.

Can you send a screenshot of the search results to support@gaiagps.com?

Search does not work. I plug in the UTM COORDINATES I GET FOR THE CURRENT LOCATION (in Virginia, USA), and it gives me a point in South Africa. Also, I know I am in UTM 17N, but the program insists I am in "17S". If I plug in the same UTM coordinates but use 17n instead of S, I get a spot in Turkey.

@spencerrp802
I have created a bug report for this and submitted to the Development Team.

P.S. It seems that part of the problem is that that GAIA GPS is not using or not using latitude bands consistently. in UTM, "17N" can mean either in the northern hemisphere or in latitude band N (more commonly associated with the MGRS). "17S" meanwhile would normally mean southern hemisphere, or it could be a latitude band a couple bands north of 17N.
So I'm sitting at my desk in Charlottesville, VA. GAIA tells me I am at 17S 720884 4211492.
I plug those exact coordinates into the search. I get an option for some landmark (no label, incidentally) that is in the Netherlands.
If I do the same using MGRS (17SQC2088411492 -- exceptionally unhelpful that there is no space or comma between the easting and the northing, BTW) I get no search results at all.
This seems to be a search issue. I can get to the right places by adding waypoints.
However, the latitude band issue is a bit confusing.
